Tearinibai is a place in the north of the Tarawa Atoll in the Gilbert Islands of the island state of Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean . The place is on the island of Buariki . In 2017 the place had about 317 inhabitants.

geography

Tearinibai is a place on the "mast", the northern arm of the Tarawa Atoll. It is located about one kilometer south of the eponymous place on the island. There is a church and a meeting house. The next place to the south is Nuatabu .

climate

The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Just like the other places in Tarawa Atoll, Tearinibai is occasionally hit by cyclones .
