The Aviation Technology Union (TGL) is a union that aims to represent personnel in civil aviation. On September 11th, 2002 the association was founded as ARTE eV. At a general meeting in November 2010, the name was changed to TGL Technik Union Aviation. TGL has been part of the IGL Aviation Industry Union since 2015 . In future, collective bargaining is to take place in the IGL.
