The Technische Werke Friedrichshafen GmbH ( TWF ) is active in the transport municipal group of companies in Friedrichshafen .
history
Electricity was generated in Friedrichshafen for the first time in 1892, and the municipal power station went into operation on January 3, 1907. In 1981 the municipal energy and water supply company was converted from its own municipal operation into a GmbH.
As a cross-network company (electricity, gas, water, local heating supply, transport companies and the operation of parking garages), the TWF has developed more and more into a service company. In October 2012, the following areas were spun off into Stadtwerk am See GmbH & Co. KG, which was founded jointly by TWF and Stadtwerke Überlingen:
