The Technische Gymnasium Telfs , TGT for short , is an upper-level secondary school (ORG) with a technical focus and integrated apprenticeship training in Telfs .
history
In the school year 2009/2010 the project "Matura with teaching" arose through a cooperation between Thöni Industriebetriebe GmbH and the Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium (BRG / BORG) Telfs as part of the Thöni Academy. This project is being implemented as an independent branch of the BRG / BORG Telfs as part of a school trial. The signing of the contract between the Thöniakademie, the Land of Tyrol and the Landesschulrat für Tirol on September 15, 2009 is considered the foundation date of the Technical Gymnasium . The premises, the equipment of the laboratories and workshops and the entire infrastructure of the Technical Gymnasium are provided by the Thöni company . The theoretical and practical lessons are held by vocational school teachers, the lessons in the AHS subjects by federal school teachers of the BRG / BORG Telfs.
In July 2013, the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKÖ) accepted the final apprenticeship examination in the apprenticeship mechatronics for the first time.
education
In the five-year AHS upper level, vocational training takes place during the first four years, parallel to the AHS training. Depending on your choice, this can be done in the apprenticeship mechatronics or mechanical engineering with the special module automation technology . At the end of the fourth year, the final apprenticeship examination in the respective apprenticeship is taken at the Economic Development Institute (WIFI) of the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce in Innsbruck. This ends the technical training and in the fifth year the students are prepared in the AHS subjects for the standardized matriculation examination .
