Ted Sun
Ted Sun (* 1967 in Hong Kong ; † September 18, 2005 in Beijing ) was a Chinese Internet entrepreneur with the NetEase portal .
Life
After graduating from the Wharton School of Business , Ted Sun was initially a consultant at Bear Stearns Asia for NetEase from 1996 to 2000 , then director and since September 2001 chief executive officer of NetEase.
He built NetEase into one of the best performing Chinese companies. BusinessWeek named Ted Sun one of the 25 Stars of Asia 2003 .
He died of cancer, but worked until the end.
