Teichberg

The Teichberg is an elevation in the Berlin district of Karow in the Pankow district .

The elevation is located southeast of the old town center and is now built on with a single-family housing estate. Its highest point is 62.8 m above sea level. NN, at the end of street 69 . At this height, the Teichberg is the highest point in Karow, and it was also in the old district of Weissensee . The surrounding area is known as the Hohe Feld , one of the three tubs in the village of Karow. Today the area is part of the Barnim Nature Park . The hill was called Deichberg until 1871 . When the local sand pit filled up after a water ingress, the name was changed accordingly. The small pond is west of the summit.

Nearby is the "Kolonie am Teichberg" named after the survey, a street in the district bears the name Teichbergstrasse as the name of the parcel .
