Tekov
Tekov (German perch , Hungarian bars ) is a landscape in Slovakia . The name of the former Hungarian county Bars is derived from it , the name itself is derived from the main castle of the area, Burg Persch .
The area lies in what is now central and southern Slovakia , the Slovak name "Tekov" is now used as an unofficial name for this area.
