Moderation

The permanent presenter of the show was the actor and cabaret artist Stefan Martin Müller in the role of Ole. Over the years he had various co-presenters: initially from 1991 to 1993 Jany Tempel and in the last year of production the Swiss Regula Grauwiller . For a short time, Nana Spier also moderated a few episodes.

Content and presentation

The title of the series is a direct- onomatopoeic Germanization of Anglizismus "Television" (Engl. For "television") to obtain some cases literally took over the inherent concept of "wiping" for at least one section of the series, the "Tele-wiper" .

The specific broadcast concept was primarily a relatively colorful mix in the first year of production: as one of the last in-house productions of the German television station , the program, developed as a media magazine for children and young people, was a conglomerate of feature films, interviews and comedy. For example, Müller showed fictional corruptions of commercials from which he had a winner determined at the end of the first year of broadcast. This through audience votes and announced by invited celebrities, for example singer Inka Bause .

From the second year of broadcast, the program looked like a film-adapted youth magazine: in addition to the well-known interviews and clips, and the like. a. also a kind of serial novel and a letter to the editor. In addition, each episode had a specific theme, for example action or ecology.

Later on, the ARD broadcast some episodes as part of its afternoon program. In 1994 "Telewisch" was discontinued.
