Regula Grauwiller (born December 10, 1970 in Liestal , canton Basel-Landschaft ) is a Swiss actress .

Life

After graduating from secondary school , Grauwiller studied acting at the Berlin University of the Arts from 1990 to 1993 . In 1992 she made her debut in Rainer Kaufmann's TV film Then just with violence alongside Jürgen Vogel , Thomas Heinze and Jasmin Tabatabai . In 1993 she played the leading role in Peter Timm's film Einfach nur Liebe at the side of Benno Fürmann and Uwe Ochsenknecht . Other important films in the 1990s were Hardy Martins Cascadeur - The Hunt for the Amber Room in 1997 and Fatih Akıns Short and Painless in 1998 . Her last major role in a movie was in 2000, alongside Ken Duken in Miguel Alexandres Gran Paradiso . After a long baby break, she played the part of Anna Lindbergh in the Swiss science fiction film Cargo in 2009 . In addition to cinema and television films, she was also often seen in various series ( Alarm für Cobra 11 , SK-Babies , Tatort ).

Private

Regula Grauwiller lived in Berlin from 1990 to 2000 and in Munich until the beginning of 2003 . She currently lives with her husband, the German actor Jophi Ries , and their three children (born in 2000, 2002 and 2004) in their place of birth, Liestal.
