action

The friends Caroline, Eva, Estelle, Judith and Kiki do not meet this time for their monthly dinner, but to help with Kiki's move. She moves with her husband and little Greta far away from the hustle and bustle of Cologne to the rural idyll of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The friends stay sad, but they soon get an emergency call from Kiki and together the four of them make their way to her. Kiki and Max are in the process of converting a school building into a bed & breakfast hotel, but the whole thing turned out to be a complete ruin, so that its planned opening in three weeks is in danger. As soon as Kiki's friends arrive, Max fled from the chaos to Hamburg , where he accepted an order at short notice.

There is already a nasty surprise on their first evening together. During a thunderstorm, it rains heavily through the roof of the old building, and Eva falls, which encourages her more and more to have a streak of bad luck at the moment and possibly to die soon. But Caroline also has problems because she feels persecuted. She has received death threats since her last trial, and for the last few days she has obviously been meeting the same man who has rented Kiki's fishing hut, of all places, to allegedly go on vacation.

With all construction work, Kiki's funding threatens to collapse as a foundation that manages Estelle's daughter-in-law withholds her funds. But the women are determined to get all problems out of the way. They go to work full of vigor, and thanks to their charm they succeed in persuading energetic men to work.

Caroline can gradually convince herself that the man from Cologne may just be on vacation after all and is a hobby ornithologist , which explains his monitoring system . But after her research he has something to hide and so she searches the fisherman's hut and finds documents in his suitcase that indicate that Thomas Steiner is targeting Estelle. When her friend falls on her bike shortly afterwards and Steiner helps her, he reveals himself to be a financial investigator who was hired by Estelle's daughter-in-law to find out whether the foundation funds are being used according to their purpose. Since he can confirm this with the project to save the old school building, he leaves again. But Estelle has to find out that her daughter-in-law has finally pushed her out of the foundation.

Thanks to the help of the whole village, the hotel is finally completed on time and the four friends drive back to Cologne.

Reviews

Tittelbach.tv praises: “ Between cabbage and beetroot there is a large number of such scenes to offer, in which the script and direction play with cinematic conventions and the expectations of the audience. These ideas, the good dialogues and the actors make the film a real pleasure; not only for women."

The editorial team of Kino.de is of the opinion: “With partly new cast and the new, comedy-experienced director Franziska Meyer-Price, Tuesday women are starting their third adventure - and that's a good thing. Like the previous films, the adaptation of Monika Peetz 'latest' Tuesday women 'novel is a relaxed and easy and very entertaining pleasure with a varied story, a beautiful setting, very personable (identification) characters and a successful mixture of a lot Humor and more thoughtful sequences, even if the concept around the female clique shows the first slight signs of wear and tear.
