Thomas Heinze (born March 30, 1964 in West Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

The son of an American and a Dutch woman of German descent spent his childhood in the USA ; In 1973 the family moved back to Germany.

From 1983 to 1986 he studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich . In 1991 he was part of the staff for the Volker Schlöndorff film Homo Faber . He played the male lead in Alone Among Women (directed by Sönke Wortmann ). He played a leading role in the 1996 films Das Superweib and Charley's Tante . In the movie comedy Frau Rettich, die Czerni und Ich (1998, directed by Markus Imboden ) he played Bakunin. In 1999 he played in The Big Bagarozy (director: Bernd Eichinger ).

In 2003 he was the television reporter in the SAT.1 production Das Wunder von Lengede with Heino Ferch , Heike Makatsch , Jan Josef Liefers and Nadja Uhl . In 2004 he took on the role of Rather Short in the comedy Der Wixxer , a parody of the Edgar Wallace films of the 1950s and 1960s. In March 2009 Heinze appeared as a singer for the first time in the ZDF music program Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel and covered two songs by Harald Juhnke .

Heinze was in a relationship with the actress Nina Kronjäger and has two children with her. Today he lives with the star FM presenter Jackie Brown in Berlin . He also has a child with her. Heinze is a hobby racing driver ; he started u. a. as a VIP pilot in 2006 , 2007 and 2010 at racing events in the Mini Challenge Germany .
