The 12-year-old Fridolin Sternberg ( Max Felder ) is looking for answers to the reasons for his parents' divorce. He meets Boschi on the Internet who wants to grant him a wish. Fridolin wishes that he would like to be instead of his father. This wish comes true and Fridolin swaps roles with his father Dr. Daniel Sternberg ( Thomas Heinze ). While the father now goes back to school in the child's body and has to cope with everyday life with the help of Fridolin's best friend Katja ( Sidonie von Krosigk ). Meanwhile, in his father's body, Fridolin tries to get rid of the father's new lover and win the ex-wife back for himself. He runs into some problems in his job as a judge, as well as the fact that his mother now also has a new lover (Eric Martin, played by Christian Tramitz ). After some of the problems have been resolved, the transformation must also be reversed by a request from father and son after 48 hours at the latest, otherwise the exchange will remain.
