The Tell Chapel is a chapel on the shores of Lake Lucerne three kilometers south of the village of Sisikon in the Swiss canton of Uri .

It is located on the Tellsplatte, where, according to the legend, Wilhelm Tell jumped from Bailiff Gessler's boat . A chapel was built here as early as 1388. In 1503 a chapel is mentioned as Heilig Hüslin . A new building or renovation took place in 1590.

The current chapel was built in 1879/1880. It is decorated with four frescoes by the Basel painter Ernst Stückelberg and shows the apple shot (in Altdorf), the Tell jump (on the Tellsplatte), Gessler's death in the Hohlen Gasse (near Küssnacht) and the Rütlischwur (meadow on the opposite side of Lake Uri ) .

Every year on the Friday after Ascension Day, the Uri State Pilgrimage takes place by ship to the Tell Chapel. The chapel found its way into the Sisikon coat of arms: a white chapel with a red roof on a green background. In 1991 the chapel was restored.
