Tendrara ( Arabic تندرارة; Tifinagh script ⵜⴻⵏⴷⵔⴰⵔⴰ ) is a rural community (commune rurale) with about 10,000 inhabitants in the province of Figuig in the Oriental region in the far east of Morocco .
Location and climate
The small town of Tendrara is located at the intersection of two national roads ( N 17 and N 19 ) in a river oasis surrounded by stone deserts about 70 km (driving distance) north of Bouarfa at an altitude of about 1450 m . The climate is hot and dry; Rain (approx. 285 mm / year) falls almost exclusively in the winter months.
