Tengasu is a reef island in the southernmost reef rim of the Funafuti Atoll , Tuvalu .

geography

The island is located in the southwesternmost section of the reef rim. The closest motu are Tutanga in the north and Teafuafou , part of the island of Avalau in the south, which forms the southwestern tip of the atoll. It is located in the Kogatapu Conservation Area - South End .
