Tenkai Knights

Tenkai Knights is an anime series produced by the Canadian toy manufacturer Spin Master to advertise its Ionix building blocks in collaboration with the Japanese Shogakukan - Shueisha Productions.

A long time ago, the evil Vilius and his army started a war on the planet Quarton among the shape-changing building block-like creatures. Finally, the heroes, the Tenkai Knights consisting of Bravenwolf, Dromus, Lydendor, Tributon and Valorn, managed to repel them, but were never seen again. But now Vilius has risen again. At the same time, the boys Guren, Ceylan, Chooki and Toxsa find an interdimensional portal that leads them to Quarton, where they are chosen to be the new Tenkai Knights.

The Tenkai Knights

Guren Nash
Guren is the main character and leader of the new generation of Tenkai knights. He is predestined to be a leader (even if he has not yet grown into his role) and is not afraid of difficulties. He is always portrayed with a very positive attitude. He can transform into Bravenwolf, who is the leader of the former Tenkai Knights. He describes himself as "Tenkai power". As a brave wolf, he is armed with a sword and shield. He is the first to unleash the Titan mode. He is best friends with Ceylan Jones.
Ceylan Jones
Ceylan is friendly, goofy, and a real jester. When he's not playing the class clown, he can also be amazingly mindful. He can turn into tribute. He describes himself as "Tenkai speed". As a tribute he is armed with a crossbow and a shield. He is the second to unleash the Titan mode. Guren Nash is his best friend.
Chooki Mason
Chooki has a calm disposition. He is the best athlete on the team and always looks forward to a challenge. He can turn into Lydendor. He describes himself as "Tenkai skill". As Lydendor, he is armed with a blade that he can use in a mass battle. He is the third to unleash the Titan mode.
Toxsa Dalton
Although he's a year younger than the others, he's at least as smart as they are and therefore in the same class. Toxsa is something of a tech geek. He enjoys playing video games and tinkering with digital devices, when not helping out with his family's dinner. He's quirky, quick-tempered, and gets along better with computers than people. He can transform into the Tenkai Knight Valorn and is armed with a shield and spear. He also describes himself as "Tenkai strength".

publication

The series was animated by the Japanese studio Bones and directed by Mitsuru Hongō. The 52 episode series was first broadcast on August 24, 2013 in the US on Cartoon Network . It began broadcasting in Japan on April 5, 2014 on TV Tokyo . The series has been running ProSieben Maxx in Germany since June 27, 2014 and is also being released on DVD by Kazé .
