Tenova , based in Castellanza (Italy), is a subsidiary of the Argentine steel producer Techint . Tenova manufactures equipment for mining (brands DELKOR and TAKRAF ), metal production, secondary metallurgy (brands EMCI , Core , Goodfellow and Technometal ) and heat treatment ( MTH ).
Tenova Deutschland Holding is the owner of TAKRAF as well as LOI Thermprocess GmbH, Schmetz GmbH, IVA GmbH and Mahler GmbH.
The companies of the HTC Group (IVA-Schmetz GmbH, Mahler GmbH, BMI Fours in Lyon and IVA-Schmetz Shanghai) were sold again in July 2019.
history
Techint acquired numerous plant construction companies in the mid-1990s. In 2007 Techint Technologies was renamed Tenova .
In 2012 Bateman Engineering and the German LOI Thermprocess were taken over.
In 2016 the company moved from Milan to Castellanza.
