The Tent Peak is a 1570 m high and tent-shaped mountain peak on the Antarctic Ross Island . It is halfway between Mount Terror and Cape Crozier in the east of the island.
Participants of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1958-1959), who used it on 5 January 1959 as astronomical observation station plus (below the summit a tent English tent erected), bestowed on him the descriptive name.
