Sulaiman Tenywa Bonseu (born October 28, 1976 in Kampala ) is a former Ugandan national soccer player who was particularly active in various franchises of the North American Major League Soccer . He was also used seven times in the Ugandan national soccer team .

Club career

Bonseu began his career with Express FC in his native Uganda before moving to the US to play at Martin Methodist College . He signed his first professional contract with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds , who played in the A-League . Bonseu played there for two seasons before moving to Major League Soccer for Chicago Fire . He played with Columbus Crew in 2001, Dallas Burn in 2002 and 2003 , and for the 2004 season he joined the New York MetroStars . After Bonseu's contract was not renewed there, he went to the Rochester Raging Rhinos , who also played in New York, but in the USL First Division . After three years there, he went back to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

National team

Bonseu was used for the Ugandan national soccer team in qualifying for the 2006 World Cup and qualifying for the 2010 World Cup .
