The Terror Glacier is a large glacier between Mount Terra Nova and Mount Terror on Ross Island, East Antarctica . It flows south to Fog Bay , a side bay of Windless Bight .

Arnold J. Heine, participant of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963), named it after the name of Mount Terror. Both geographical objects are named after the HMS Terror , one of the two research vessels of the British polar explorer James Clark Ross .
