Teruyuki Moniwa ( Japanese 茂 庭 照 幸 Moniwa Teruyuki ; born September 8, 1981 in Atsugi ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

society

Moniwa played in the youth in the prefecture capital Hiratsuka with Shonan Bellmare and came there in 1999 for his first appearances in the first division team . However, since the club was relegated in the same year, two second division years followed before the defender returned to the House of Lords in 2002 with the move to FC Tokyo . There he is now an integral part of the team and, among other things, contributed to winning the 2004 League Cup .

National team

For the selection of his country, Teruyuki Moniwa already played in his youth. Among other things, he took part in the U20 World Junior Championship in 2001. For the senior national team he played for the first time on October 8, 2003. In 2004 he was part of Japan's Olympic selection at the Olympic Games in Athens, before he returned to the A-Team in 2005 and got some full stakes. In the run-up to the 2006 World Cup in Germany, however, he was no longer considered and did not play in the qualification and only after Makoto Tanaka's failure did he move into Japan's World Cup squad . There he was the youngest player on his team to play a World Cup.
