Tessa Niles

Tessa Margaret Niles (born Tessa Margaret Webb in 1961 in Ilford, Essex ) is a British singer .

Life

Career

Niles began her professional work as a singer in 1979 and enjoyed her first successes with groups such as Tina Turner , ABC and Buddy Guy . Niles later worked with artists such as Elton John , David Bowie and Paul McCartney . The British worked extensively with world star Eric Clapton . Her voice appeared on the Clapton albums and concert films August , Journeyman , 24 Nights , Live in Hyde Park , In Concert: A Benefit for the Crossroads Center at Antigua and the Concert for George . Niles was also part of the Clapton – Knopfler - as well as the Journeyman and 1992 Eric Clapton World Tour .

Private

Niles was married to the American musician Richard Niles since 1982 . Niles later married Eduardo Chivambo Mondlane Jr., the son of Eduardo Mondlane . In 1998 the singer became a mother of two with twins Mikaela and Fallon Mondlane.
