Teti was the treasurer who acted under King Nub-cheper-Re Anjotef in the ancient Egyptian 17th dynasty (around 1600 BC). So far he is only known from his tomb, which was found right next to the pyramid of the king in Dra Abu el-Naga . Teti carried the titles “ member of the elite ” ( Jrj-pˁ.t ), “ foremost in action ” ( Ḥ3.tj-ˁ ), “ royal sealer ” ( Ḫtm.tj-bjtj ), “only friend” ( Smḥr-w ˁ.tj ) and " treasurer " ( Jmj-r3-ḫtm.t ).

His grave consisted of a small chapel, which was built from adobe bricks and is only about 1 × 1 m in size. The interior of the chapel is painted and shows Teti sitting in front of offerings. His titles are placed above his picture. The cartouche of Nub-cheper-Re (Anjotef) was also found in the chapel , which made it possible to identify the pyramid next to it. In front of the chapel there was the grave shaft of the small grave complex, which, however, had already been completely robbed.
