Tetsuya Yamazaki ( Japanese 山崎 哲 也 Yamazaki Tetsuya ; born July 25, 1978 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Yamazaki learned to play soccer on the school team at Shizuoka Gakuen High School . He signed his first contract in 1997 with the Montedio Yamagata . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1999 he moved to league competitor Ōita Trinita . In 2002 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 104 games. In 2005 he moved to league rivals Cerezo Osaka . At the end of the 2006 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 28 first division games. In 2008 he returned to Ōita Trinita. In 2008 he won the J.League Cup with the club . At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
