Texas Public Radio ( TPR ) is the amalgamation of a number of public radio stations in Texas . All stations are affiliates of National Public Radio . The organization is based in San Antonio . Joyce Slocum has been President and CEO of TPR since 2014 .

history
Texas Public Radio was founded in 1988 and initially had the status of a non-profit organization 501 (c) 3). TPR emerged from the merger of the "Classical Broadcasting Society of San Antonio" and the "San Antonio Community Radio".
