Thøger Larsen
Thøger Larsen (* 1875 in Gjeller Odde , Jutland , † 1928 in Lemvig ) was a Danish poet .
Life
He was born in Gjeller Odde in Jutland in 1875 . After graduating in 1892, he became a tutor. His first collection of poems, Vilde Roser ( Wilde Rosen ), appeared in 1895. From 1896 to 1911 he worked as a surveyor in Lemvig . In 1904 he married Thyra Paludan. In the same year he became editor of the newspaper Lemviger Dagblad and had his breakthrough as a poet with Jord ( World ). From 1925 to 1926 he made a trip to Italy. He died in Lemvig in 1928.
