Thuringian Order Association

The Thuringian Ordnungsbund was a parliamentary group in the third Thuringian state parliament during the Weimar Republic .

It was an amalgamation of the bourgeois parties Thuringian Landbund (ThLB), German People's Party (DVP), German National People's Party (DNVP), German Democratic Party (DDP), the Fatherland Association, civil servants' representatives, house owners, economists and the center . On February 10, 1924, he joined the state elections in Thuringia as an electoral alliance with the slogan "The whole country came to the dog, now only the Ordnungsbund saves". He achieved a share of 48.02% of the vote and 35 seats in parliament.

After the election and the formation of a government ( Leutheußer I cabinet ), most of the reforms initiated by the superseded SPD / USPD / KPD government were canceled by the Thuringian Order, including those in economic policy and school education. He drove the Staatliche Bauhaus out of Weimar , supported folk-nationalist organizations and was tolerated in parliament by the United Völkisch List (VVL). He did not run for the 1927 state elections.
