Thales-Raytheon Systems Company LLC ( ThalesRaytheonSystems or TRS ) is a space and military technology company with co-headquarters in Massy , France and Fullerton , USA , and a 50:50 joint venture between Raytheon and Thales Group . ThalesRaytheon was founded in June 2001 to bundle the competencies of the two companies in the fields of radar and C⁴ISR .

Thales SA and Raytheon Company announced the formation of Thales Raytheon Systems on December 16, 2000.
At the time of this establishment, Thales Raytheon Systems had a world market share of approx. 40 percent in the field of air defense control centers, air defense radar and battlefield surveillance systems.
