action
Jim Rhodes was posted to Texas after four years of border protection . His partner Lee died on the job when they tried to report an apparently abandoned drug laboratory. Six bank robbers raid a bank and steal millions in securities. But their leader breaks away, tries to kill the other five with a bomb and escapes with the booty into the mountains, where he is injured. His deputy can defuse the bomb and smuggle a tracking device in the form of a plastic card into his jacket beforehand. In the nearby city, the gangsters raid the sheriff's office , which also happens to be Jim's daughter Kim, who was caught shoplifting. The bank robbers want their loot back and Jim should show them the safest way through the mountains, using Kim as leverage so that Jim doesn't cause trouble. When they confront their renegade, he has already thrown the bag down a slope, but it got stuck on a branch. While trying to get the bag with the loot back, Jim, after throwing the bag up for them, falls down the slope and falls into the river. The gangsters still have his daughter Kim. She should now show them the way through the mountains. But Jim is still alive and is now hunting the gangsters.
production
Only part of the film was shot in Texas and most of it in West Virginia . The film didn't have a big budget or huge revenue. The film received more positives than negatives in the rating.
