Michael Eklund (born July 31 in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

Michael Eklund studied art at the Alberta College of Art. As a five-year-old he was so fascinated by the first film he saw in the cinema that he wanted to become an actor from then on. After dropping out of art studies and moving to Vancouver, he starred in several Canadian and US television and cinema productions from 2000, including 88 minutes , The Cabinet of Dr. Parnassus and Watchmen - The Guardians . In 2007 he shot four films, especially for the German director Uwe Boll : BloodRayne II: Deliverance , Postal , Seed and Swords of the King - Dungeon Siege .

Michael Eklund is represented by Red Management in Vancouver.

The film Errors of the Human Body by the Australian director Eron Sheean , for which Eklund was in front of the camera together with Karoline Herfurth at the Max Planck Institute in Dresden in February and March 2011 , won the prize at the 2012 Trieste Festival Science + Fiction as best film and opened in the USA in April 2013.

In 2012 he starred with Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin in the leading male role in The Call - Don't hang up! in front of the camera.
