Eron Sheean

Eron Sheean (* 1976 in Melbourne ) is an Australian film director and screenwriter . He lives and works in Australia and Germany .

His short and animated films have been shown at numerous renowned international film festivals in Sundance , Berlin , Telluride , Chicago , Hawaii and Melbourne . His short film Fish was screened at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2006 , won the Emerging Australian Filmmaker at the Melbourne International Film Festival , and was nominated for a Dendy Award at the Sydney Film Festival . The short film William, about an Aboriginal magician, was screened at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival and won two Grand Jury Awards at the Montreal First Peoples Festival - Terres En Vues.

The film Errors of the Human Body with Karoline Herfurth and Michael Eklund in the leading roles, which Sheean shot at the Max Planck Institute Dresden in February / March 2011 , was released in 2012.
