Thawat Khachin (born August 30, 1994 ) is a Thai shot putter .

Career

Thawat Khachin gained his first international experience in 2013 when he won the gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games in Naypyidaw with a width of 17.54 m. The following year he took part in the Asian Games in Incheon for the first time and reached eleventh place with 15.50 m. 2017 he won at the Southeast Asia Games in Kuala Lumpur with 17.15 m silver medal behind compatriot Promrob Juntima and then it was at the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat with 16.45 m twelfth. The following year he finished ninth at the Asian Games in Jakarta with 15.14 m and in 2019 he finished fourth at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas with 15.87 m.
