The Autumn Offering was an American metalcore band from Daytona Beach , Florida .
history
The Autumn Offering was founded in 1999 by Nick Gelyon ( drums ), Matt Johnson ( guitar ), Dennis Miller (vocals), George Moore (lead guitar) and Sean Robbins ( bass ) while still in high school.
Jamey Jasta, singer of Hatebreed , became aware of the band during a regional tour and signed them to his record label Stillborn Records in December 2003. There the debut album Revelations of the Unsung was released in the summer of 2004.
A year later the band switched to Victory Records , where the second album Embrace the Gutter was released in 2006 . The label also released the following albums: Fear Will Cast No Shadow (2007), Requiem (2009) and The Autumn Offering (2010).
Following the fifth, so far last album, the band announced that they would “take a longer break. Maybe even to end the whole thing ”. There have been no further publications since then.
