The Barnstompers is a Dutch country and rockabilly band .
Career
The Barnstompers were founded in September 1991 by Kees Stierter and Jeroen Haagedoorn, who had previously played in other groups. Over the years, the other band members were added, but the line-up changed a few years ago. They released their first EP in 1993 on Barn Records. In recent years the Barnstompers have grown in popularity enormously. They have toured with Sid King , Sonny Fisher , Lew Williams and Charlie Thompson .
They are regulars at the Green Bay Rockabilly Festival and in 2004 they performed at the Viva Las Vegas Festival , the largest rockabilly festival in the world. In 2006 they won four prizes at the Dutch Dutch Country Awards . Her tours have already taken her to many countries, including Germany , Denmark , Switzerland , Belgium , Austria , France and the United States .
