The Dodos is an American indie rock duo from San Francisco that consists of Meric Long and Logan Kroeber. They mainly play psychedelic folk songs.

history

In February 2005 Meric Long produced the solo EP Dodo Bird on his own. Shortly afterwards he met Logan Kroeber and began to play live shows with him under the name The Dodos. In December 2006 the album Beware of the Maniacs was created, also in self-production , followed by a tour in 2007. In December 2007 they got a record deal with Frenchkiss Records and released their second album Visiter in March 2008, which got mostly good reviews.
