The Gibson Steps (German: Gibson steps ) denote an area of rock cliffs made of limestone . They are located in Port Campbell National Park in the immediate vicinity of the Twelve Apostles in the city of Port Campbell in the Australian state of Victoria .

The step system is named after Gibson Beach , which lies at the foot of the rocky coast. Both the steps and the beach are a tourist attraction on the Great Ocean Road .

From the observation deck at the Twelve Apostles , the two rocky cliffs can be seen jutting out into the ocean. In 2008 the step system was renewed.
