The Gumbabies was a German punk band from Munich . It was founded in 2003 and disbanded in 2013 .

history

The band released their first mini CD How Can I Win? shortly after its founding in 2003 and toured Germany , Austria and Italy . The album Another Ragged Army was released simultaneously by the punk labels Caustic Rock and No Front Teeth in Germany and Great Britain. After another tour through Germany and Austria, the band released the album This Is Plastic in 2009 , which is distributed internationally.

Their concert on January 5th, 2009 in the municipal stadium on Grünwalder Strasse in Munich was the first rock concert ever in this stadium.

In 2009 the band released the soundtrack for the radio play Kein Halt in Freimann .

On October 26, 2013, the band announced their breakup on their website.
