The rock band The Gutter Twins is a joint project of rock musicians Greg Dulli ( The Afghan Whigs , The Twilight Singers ) and Mark Lanegan ( Screaming Trees , QotSA ). So far a studio album and an EP have been released on the Sub Pop label .

Dulli and Lanegan have been friends for a long time and have supported each other on their respective projects. Lanegan was a guest musician on various albums / EPs of the Twilight Singers ( Blackberry Belle , She Loves You , A Stitch in Time ), Dulli in turn participated in the recordings of Lanegan's studio album Bubblegum .

Saturnalia (2008-2009)

On March 4, 2008 the only studio album Saturnalia was released. In addition to Lanegan and Dulli, musicians from the Twilight Singers were mainly involved in the recordings and the later tour.

In September 2008 the EP Adorata followed , which was only released as a download. Part of the proceeds went to the Natasha Shneider Memorial Fund. For example, Adorata has a cover of the song Flow Like A River by Eleven , the band Shneiders.
