Buster and Fatty work in a general store, with Fatty taking on the task of delivering the mail. He fulfills these in a very unusual way. At the same time he makes sure that there is always enough time for his great love Fanny. But a competitor, the local sheriff, makes life difficult for him. Using unfair means, he tries to harness his girlfriend to Fatty. Thanks to Buster, however, it is possible to convict the sheriff as a crook and to beat him to flight with the help of Fatty's dog.
