The Horn (English for Das Horn ) is a 220 m high hill with a cliff of red rock on its western flank on Eagle Island south of the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . At the north-western end of the island, it towers over a headland that protrudes into the Prince Gustav Canal between the Trinity Peninsula and Vega Island .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it in 1945 and gave it its descriptive name.
