Patrick Brachner

Patrick Brachner ( Azerbaijani Patrik Braxner ; born January 7, 1992 in Austria ) is an Austrian - Azerbaijani ski racer .

Brachner comes from Kematen an der Ybbs , and competes for Azerbaijan.

In 2011 he took part in his first world championship. He started in the slalom and giant slalom, where he retired in the slalom and finished 83rd in the giant slalom. Brachner also took part in slalom and giant slalom at the next World Cup in Schladming in 2013. In the slalom he finished 37th, in the giant slalom he was eliminated.

At the 2014 Olympic Winter Games , Brachner was the flag bearer for Azerbaijan and also started in the slalom and giant slalom here. In the slalom he was eliminated in the first round, in the giant slalom he finished 53rd.

He missed the 2015 World Cup due to knee surgery. At the 2017 World Championships in St. Moritz, he was eliminated in slalom and reached 60th place in giant slalom.
