action

Pop singer Suah from the girl group Red Queen dies in a car accident. Her death passes through the media landscape and is accompanied by scandals and rumors. Red Queen's producer goes underground. A year later, Chae Nakyung is announced as Suah's successor in the girl group. However, Nakyung was previously under contract with another agency and wanted to debut in another girl group with Youngjoo, Sori, Jane, Yukika and Taeri. They are beside themselves and accuse Nakyung of having betrayed them. But after Nakyung, the agency is broke anyway and everyone is fighting for themselves. Shortly afterwards, the five girls find out that their talent agency is actually broke. But unexpectedly someone has taken over the agency with big plans. The new president of 825 Entertainment goes in search of the Red Queen producer Kang Shin-hyuk and hires him for his project. This would still be in his debt. Around the same time, Suah's twin sister Suji is struggling with herself and from side job to side job. She was an excellent marathon runner, but gave up after her sister died. She happens to meet at the grave of her sister Kang Shin-hyuk, who has just returned to Seoul. Suji wants to know if the media rumors about Suah's relationship with him were true. But producer Kang waves it away and says the media only told what it wanted, without facts. In return, he asks her if she is interested in singing in a girl group. But she says no.

Finally, it comes to the day that CEO Shim introduces the new producers to the girls. In addition to Youngjoo, Sori, Jane, Yukika and Taeri, Mr. Shim has found four other trainees whom he would like to help realize their dream: Haseo, Yeeun, Jiseul and Mint. When Mr. Shim introduces the new producer Kang, everyone is amazed and full of joy. But suddenly Suji appears, who looks exactly like the K-Pop star Suah. She explains that she is her twin sister. The further planning provides that the 10 girls train together in order to later debut in a girl group. But the "old" five members are averse to the new five. Therefore, two groups are formed, which should compete against each other and in the end only the best five should debut.

background

The Idolm@ster.KR mixes the characters in the series with the real aspects of the actresses. The role of Suji in the series is a successful marathon runner, while the actress and singer Lee Suji, who embodies the character, runs marathons as a hobby. Likewise, the character Yukika was in Japan Seiyū ( voice actress ) within the series before she joined the Real Girls Project . Again, this applies to Yukika Teramoto , who actually voiced several anime characters. Furthermore, Heo Youngjoo and Heo Joungjoo are actually siblings, as in the series. The same is true of Jung Taeri and Jung Tae-woo, who has a guest appearance on the series.
