The Intruders
The Intruders were an American singing group.
The band was founded in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania in the early 1960s . In 1966 they were signed by a famous production company and from then on they were among the first representatives of the so-called " Philly Sound ".
The songwriter and producer team Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff wrote many soul hits for the group am into the 1970s , which were particularly successful in the "Black Charts". The group then disappeared again in the mid-1970s.
