The LINQ is a Las Vegas entertainment strip that opened in 2014 and was built by Caesars Entertainment . It is located directly on the Las Vegas Strip across from Caesars Palace between the hotel of the same name The LINQ Resort and Casino and the Flamingo Hotel . There are numerous shops and restaurants on the new open-air promenade. The main attraction of this new area is the High Roller , a 167 meter high Ferris wheel , which has been the largest Ferris wheel in the world since it opened on April 1, 2014. On November 5, 2014, the singer Britney Spears was presented with a certificate and the key to the Las Vegas Strip on the promenade - because of her services to the metropolis in the Nevada desert. In addition, she officially got her own holiday in Las Vegas.
