Riet Cadonau (born May 12, 1961 in Basel ; legal resident in Waltensburg / Vuorz ) is a Swiss manager .

Life

Cadonau studied at the University of Zurich and graduated with a licentiate (Lic. Oec. Publ.). He also completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in France.

From 1990 to 2001 he worked for IBM Switzerland in various management positions. From 2001 to 2005 he was a member of the Ascom group management. He then was Managing Director at ACS, Inc. (now Xerox). From 2007 to 2011 he was CEO of Ascom.

He has been CEO of the security technology manufacturer Kaba Group since 2011 and its successor, the dormakaba Group, since 2015 . Riet Cadonau has also been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the dormakaba Group since October 2018.

In addition, he was President of the Swiss Management Society from 2004 to 2009 and a member of the Board of Directors of the Kaba Group and Griesser Holding from 2006 to 2011 . He has been on the Board of Directors of the Zehnder Group since 2013 and on the Board of Directors of Georg Fischer AG since 2016 .

In the Swiss Army he held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel i Gst.
