The Moon and the Nightspirit is a Hungarian medieval and pagan folk duo with Ethereal influences that was founded in 2003 by Agnes Toth and Mihaly Szabo. The lyrics, which deal mainly with pagan fairy tales and shamanism , were mainly in English on the debut album Of Dreams Forgotten and Fables Untold , while the follow-up album Regõ Rejtem (in German about “I conjure up magic”) is entirely in Hungarian. In 2009 the group released their third album entitled Ősforrás .
