The Murmaids were an American R&B vocal trio from the 1960s.

history

Carol and Terry Fischer are the daughters of Frankie Laine's musical director . In 1963 they auditioned with Sally Gordon at the music producer Kim Fowley , who just had a song by David Gates called Popsicles and Icicles . Fowley recorded the song with the trio and they reached number 3 on the US charts that same year.
