The New Paper

The New Paper is the second largest English language daily newspaper in Singapore . It was first published on July 26, 1988 by Singapore Press Holdings . Today the circulation is around 130,000.

The New Paper is published daily and, in the style of a tabloid, is aimed primarily at young readers. The specialty of the paper is sports coverage , especially football and the English Premier League . In comparison to The Straits Times published by the same publisher, political reporting plays a rather subordinate role.
