The Not Amused are a power pop - punk rock - band from Berlin-Kreuzberg .

history

The band was founded in 2005 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Its members are all new Berliners, with roots in Italy, on Lake Constance, in Wuppertal, in the Rhineland and in England. They are particularly based on the style of the power pop punk rock bands of the late 1970s and move outside of commercial structures with a strong connection to the scene.

After numerous concerts and recordings, they recently made frequent guest appearances in Spain and released an album with the Spanish band X-Prays.

Band name

With the band name, the group refers to the winged word of the British Queen ( "We are not amused" ). With the name of their music label Queen Mum Records they also refer to Queen Mum , and with record titles such as By Appointment to her Royal Highness and lyrics in which they sing about the BBC and Top of the Pops , they playfully simulate a British one Background of the band. In addition, they chose a British domain for their website .
