The Poodles are a Swedish hard rock band.
history
Their first album Metal Will Stand Tall was released in May 2006 in Sweden and Finland . The two single releases from the album Night of Passion and Metal Will Stand Tall reached gold status and the former even platinum after a very short time.
The Poodles took part in the Swedish Melody Festival 2006 and took second place with Night of Passion . They then released the single Seven Seas and soon afterwards on April 25, 2007 the second album Sweet Trade .
In spring 2007 The Poodles toured Europe with Hammerfall and Krokus . On June 29, 2007 they played as a special guest at the Tollwood Festival in Germany with Gotthard .
From mid-October 2007 to early November 2007, The Poodles toured Germany supporting Gotthard to present their new album Sweet Trade , which was released on September 19th.
After their first successful headlining tour, guitarist Pontus Norgren left the band in late April 2008 to play for Hammerfall . In June the new guitarist Henrik Bergqvist was introduced.
